The Duchess of Cumberland The first thing you’ll notice in this classic Irish castle bedroom, is the beautiful four-poster double bed with its huge mattress and ornate curtains. Take in the carefully chosen furniture that perfectly balances charm with comfort. The best part of this bedroom must be waking up to the incredible views of the courtyard and surrounding gardens, provided by the large bay windows.
The King John The King John features a cosy fireplace quietly crackling away in the corner of this spacious room. Enjoy the quaint dressing table and the big comfortable pull-out sofa beds. Or maybe the massive double/twin bed, delicately covered with embroidered pillows and luxurious bedding, will catch your eye. More than any of these however, there’s nothing quite like the view out of the two big bay windows, with their unrivalled views of the castle’s famous gardens.
The Queen Victoria This room is known for its simple sophistication, homely layout and effortlessly-comfortable finish. However, it is the secluded location at the south side of the castle, overlooking the picturesque front gardens, that really sets it apart from the rest of the rooms on offer at Luttrellstown Castle Resort. The Baron Irnham
This room boasts panoramic views of the countryside. Centrally located within the castle so you are close to all the services and extra amenities. This big, bright, en-suite room is centered around a large double bed.
The Guinness Suite
The signature suite of Luttrellstown Castle is a fitting tribute to one of Ireland’s most famous families and one its former owners. This lavish, ground-floor set of rooms includes a separate, spacious living room that lets you sit back and relax in the lap of luxury, as you spend your evening stretched out in front of the incredible views outside your window. The Lady Elizabeth
This stunning, spacious and effortlessly luxurious twin family room contains two large double beds allowing you to sleep up to four people. To the side, there’s a beautiful and fully-equipped en-suite bathroom complete with it’s a walk-in shower. With snug furniture sitting under the lovely wide windows that look out over the inner courtyard of the castle, you and your family or friends have enough space to experience a little bit of luxury, just like the Luttrells.
The Carhampton
With a unique style lifted straight out of the time of Simon Luttrell, this is a spacious, beautifully-restored bedroom that is full of all the character and charm rightly associated with a historic, 15th century Irish castle. The room is thoughtfully furnished with beautiful pieces befitting the period and lovingly decorated with soft pastel colours that provide a bright airy feel. This wonderful space is perfectly completed with the vintage chaise lounge that looks out the large window, across the sprawling lands once loved by the 2nd Earl of Carhampton.
The Lord Annaly
Named after one of the most recent owners of this magnificent castles, The Lord Annaly is a beautiful balance of old-world charm, with carefully-considered modern finishes. This is a big, bright en-suite castle bedroom, lovingly decorated with the warm, vibrant colours. With an incredible wrought iron double bed and a spacious en-suite bathroom, this was the favourite room of a man who once had Afternoon Tea with Queen Victoria down in the glen that can still be seen through its big bay windows.
The Luke White
The elegant, elevated en-suite marble-finished bathroom is just one of the unique features of this soothing and spacious bedroom. There are also a host of sophisticated furnishing like the vintage dressing table, the wonderful wardrobes and the enormous fireplace. At the very heart of this magical Irish castle, above its magnificent, looping arched entranceway, lies a master bedroom named in honour of its original inhabitants.
