Known for its crystal clear waters, Porta del Sol has active marine life and excellent visibility, with scores of lion fish, flounder, trumpet fish and eels. The area is also commercially developed, meaning you can expect shopping malls, along with the Caribbean’s largest aquatic theme park. The city center of Aguadilla is also historic and worth a visit, with beautiful 19th-century plazas like Plaza Colon to amble through.

Porta del Sol is known for its great surf and diving beaches. Locals and visitors alike flock to the unblemished Crash Boat Beach, but there are others to choose from, including La Ponderosa.
